Equipment
Tesla Semi Long Range with a temperature-capable trailer. ePTO up to 25 kW can power refrigeration without a diesel tractor. Trailer type and unit condition still matter.
Typical use
Southeast perishable and frozen freight when the setpoint, run time, and charge plan all close. We do not haul household goods or hazmat.
Electric operating notes
ePTO load reduces range. We plan charge stops and setpoint together. If the unit needs more power than the tractor can sustain for the run, we say so before we book.
What we need to quote
Setpoint, continuous vs. cycle, pre-cool, commodity, weight, and whether product is already at temp. Pickup and delivery appointments are not optional on most reefer freight.
